I spent some times looking at the 2008 European Commission industrial R7D investment scoreboard and I found this:

The WW top ranking companies by their R&D budget

No wonder that the car makers and the life science companies are in the Top list but

·         Microsoft is the #1 for the R&D World Wide (and for all industries)

·         Nokia is the #5! What the heck are they doing with?
