Please don't hesitate to contact me for any further informationRegards,
I signed up for the Adelaide event and used the feature on the confirmation page to add an appointment into my calendar. However the appointment runs from 9:30 - 12:00 whereas the confirmation e-mail says its from 8:30 - 11:00.
So to be sure I didn't look like an idiot and turn up either an hour early or an hour late I clicked on the contact us link (present on both the confirmation e-mail and the confirmation page) and queried the details via e-mail. I immediately received a response indicating the e-mail address is not monitored and advising me to update my links (but not what to).
Guys, how about a bit more testing before you send stuff out? Call me pedantic but I expect groups that "evangelise" their development products and methodologies to also get the small stuff right. To be fair, MS usually seems to be reasonably on the ball with this sort of stuff (unlike some others including a certain itsy bitsy machine corp and the iFruit guys), but you let yourselves down on this one, twice.
PS I'd still be grateful to know the correct times for the Adelaide session.
Hi Dunc,
the event start at 9:00 am and finish at 11:00 am.
I'm setting up a welcome coffee from 8:30 am to 9:00 am.
it looks like the appointment feature is impacted by a "Daylight saving" difference and I've reported this issue.
see you there :)
cheers,
Jihad
