Visual Studio 2008/.Net Framework 3.5 is out and available.  Thanks to all the great feedback you gave during Beta 2 the team was able to release ahead of schedule.  What a wonderful Thanksgiving present. =)

This is the best release of VS to date, rife with innovations from profound IDE enhancements, debugging, performance, CLR to associated languages and tools. LINQ, Multi-Targeting (Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5), JavaScript intellisense and debugging, updated Visual Editors for WPF and HTML.  The list goes on!

Silverlight 101 - What, Where and How?

I gave a talk last night on Silverlight at the NYC .NET Developers Group.  We had Powerpoint slides, demos, code, and pizza!  Originally scheduled for 6-8pm, we wound up staying much later.  We just couldn't stop - a great bunch of folks and some amazing dialog (aka Geek Banter).   If you are in the area I would suggest attending the next meeting it was a ton of fun.

You can grab my latest Powerpoint Slides for my Silverlight deck here.

    SharePointPedia.com

    image

" SharePointPedia.com is a web site where people discover and share useful content about SharePoint and SharePoint related products and technologies. It’s a social computing application built on top of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. Anyone with a Windows Live ID may become a registered user and can then submit content recommendations or requests, leave comments, or just vouch for whatever they like.

Note that SharePointPedia is not a wiki. It’s a “pedia” in the sense of being a compendium of useful content, but rather than being limited by just wiki functionality, it leverages the much broader set of capabilities in SharePoint. SharePointPedia is also about community, where you can find and connect with others, who have similar interests as you or who have recommended content relevant to you. We hope that you will find SharePointPedia useful, and we would greatly appreciate your feedback to make it even better.

    The Microsoft SharePointPedia Team "

With a great community, informative discussions, and topics such as List of Public MOSS Sites and Using PopFly with Sharepoint you are bound to find something useful.

    Check it out today!
