As .Net Services mature greater support is being added for for REST, ATOM, SOAP, and HTTP web standards, which will allow web developers using any programming language.

Recently Microsoft demonstrated .NET Services’ interoperability at MIX’09. Specifically how the Access Control Service and Service Bus can be integrated with a Python application deployed into Google App Engine – using just two lines of code – which may have been the first public cloud to cloud interoperability demo.

In a nutshell .NET Services allow you to easily federate data and messages with its Service Bus, Access Control, and Workflow services.
