I found another keyboard shortcut I didn't even know about : ) Ctrl-Shift-T which will create a new linked page for whatever is currently selected (or the word in which the cursor is).
If you haven't heard of linked pages they are pretty much our wiki-like feature which enables you to create linked pages for topics just like you would with a wiki and the word/phrase you started with would become a hyperlink. It is a pretty cool feature and now you can do it with Ctrl-Shift-T.
I've been using OneNote for this past college quarter and dig it... I discovered the usefulness of 'linked pages' but what really bugs me is that when tabbing back to the page you branched from, you lose your reference point. Unless I can resolve this, I probably won't use linked pages as much as I'd like, for instance, as a 'flash card' study guide... you could link to a quick answer from within class notes. But you need to be able to quick get back to where you started in order to not break your rhythm.
Also, anyone have any ideas/links/solutions for tablet pen problems? I'm dealing with slowing, freezing, and even altogether lose of pen function. I've used the system restore feature a few times already. I have a Gateway Model M285.
You can already go "Back" in OneNote. The top left most toolbar button is back which will navigate you back to where you came from. You can also do this from the keyboard with alt-left arrow (just like IE & Explorer).
It's too bad that this doesn't work with ink. You have to convert to text before you can create a linked page.
