Petr Tichý pracuje v Microsoftu jako specialista divize vývoje. Vystudoval Digital Media Production na Queensland Colleage of Art, a následně Masters in Film and Television Studies na Griffith University v Austrálii. Petr má za sebou 15-letou praxi v multimédiích a médiích. V Austrálii, kde 7 let žil, pracoval např. ve Warner Bros Studios na vytváření digitálních a vizuálních efektů pro hollywoodské filmy, jako designér multimediálních projektů, TV režisér, přednášel Videožurnalistiku na univerzitě. Po návratu do České republiky pracoval jako moderátor 1. zpráv TV Prima.
K jeho největším zájmům patří 3D, DFX, nová média, golf a volejbal. 
 
Petr Tichý works in Microsoft as a specialist of the DPE. He graduated at the Queensland Colleage of Art in Digital Media Production followed by Masters in Film and Television Studies at the Griffith University in Australia. Petr has about 15 years of multimedia and media job experience. While in Australia, where he´d lived for seven years, he used to work e.g. on digital and visual effects for Hollywood movies at the Warner Bros Studios, as a multimedia designer, TV director, lecturer of Videojournalism at the university. He was a TV news anchorman at TV Prima after his return to the Czech Republic.
His hobbies include 3D, DFX, new media, golf and volleyball.
