My friend Mariano Gomez has been in touch with our mutual friend in Fargo, Tom Irsfeld. You will remember Tom's name as one of the pioneers from the Translating Dexterity Applications Series of posts on this blog.
Tom has provided a real insight into what is happening in Fargo with the floods and what is involved in saving his and his neighbour's properties.

It looks like the worst is over as the water levels drop off.... Once the levels are down, the cleanup work starts.
