David Meego - Click for blog homepageOne of our community's MVP, Mohammad Daoud, is giving us a preview of the Arabic version of Microsoft Dynamics GP he has created.

He has used Modifier and Report Writer to update all the messages and strings in the dictionaries, which leaves the original application dictionaries unchanged.

While this is not the method described in the Translating Dexterity Applications Series of blog posts, it does produce a translated version (as long as the Customization Site License module is registered).

Please have a look at his post for details:

  • I have a question, I have the gp source and I want to use Arabic version what I must do to get it buy it or download some features and just setup ?, second will Microsoft release a new version supported Arabic language ?

    thanks

  • Hi Ahmed

Microsoft does not release or support an arabic version of Microsoft Dynamics GP.

There are arabic versions that have been created by partners in the region.

I suggest you ask on the newsgroups for which developers have an arabic version for sale.  I think I have heard of at least 3 versions.

    Thanks

    David
