Back in April, I suggested you Hold the Dates - 10th & 11th November for the upcoming developer conference.
Well, now we have more information about the conference as the event website is now up and running. There is an early bird registration offer which will save US$100 if you register before 18th September, see the website for more information.
Microsoft Dynamics GP Technical Conference 2009
I can also confirm that I will be flying the 30+ hours from Perth to Fargo so I can attend the conference and also present two of the sessions. These will be updated and improved versions of the sessions from last year's Microsoft Dynamics GP Technical Airlift 2008:
Session Title: Customizing the Microsoft Dynamics GP Client with Visual Studio Tools, Dexterity and Modifier with VBAPresenter: David Musgrave & Mariano Gomez, MVPSession Description: Get an in-depth analysis of the various client-side customization tools for Microsoft Dynamics GP, including Modifier with Visual Basic for Applications, Dexterity, and Visual Studio Tools for Microsoft Dynamics GP. This session will help you understand how each of the tools can be used to create user-interface customizations as well as help you develop the ability to make sound decisions on the best tool for a particular purpose. Session Title: Troubleshooting Your Developed SolutionPresenter: David Musgrave & Mariano Gomez, MVPSession Description: Do you know the vital development considerations necessary for effectively troubleshooting a packaged solution? Learn them and much more! We will highlight best practices, illustrate real-world examples, and provide and discuss requirements for the Certified for Microsoft Dynamics program. Plus, we will show how the Support Debugging Tool for Microsoft Dynamics GP can be used to help with both development and system administration.

Another great bit of news is that we plan to have Mariano Gomez, The Dynamics GP Blogster, co-present with me. Edit: It has been confirmed that Mariano will be co-presenting with me at the conference.
Have a look at the website for details of all the other sessions. Make sure you register as soon as possible as space is limited and the early bird offer will save you money.
There will also be post conference training available. We should have the details on the event website and posted here in the next week or so. If you are interested in training, make sure you set aside the time to stay in Fargo for a little longer after the conference.
For a bit of fun, listen to the GPDevConCommercial.mp3 file (attached to bottom of this article).
Please post a comment if you are planning to be there. Looking forward to catching up with everyone.
