What has been happening around the blogsphere?

Well, it seems that things have not slowed down much over the Holiday season and that many of the blog authors in the community have been writing lots of great articles. There are a few that caught my interest, so I will highlight them below:

Steve Endow on the Dynamics GP Land blog has been writing a number of development related posts including this one on Custom VBA Lookups.
Frank Hamelly continues his gptip42day series on the gp2themax blog. His post on gptip42day - Login to GP Faster made me want to comment. While his tip can be a solution, it should not be.

Login performance is only slowed by the number of records in the syMenuMstr (SY07110) table when a rogue add-on product is continuously adding its menu entries without checking if they already exist in the table. If the code is written correctly (as described in the Dexterity Integration Guide manual) then the number of records will not increase beyond its initial figure (unless new a product is added).
Mariano Gomez on The Dynamics GP Blogster site has written a great article on how to expose .Net functionality to Dexterity sanScript code by Building a COM Interop Assembly to use with Microsoft Dexterity.
