Pensacola SQL Saturday (with some codecamp chunks) is June 4. Schedule here - http://www.sqlsaturday.com/77/schedule.aspx  .

From 3:00PM to 5:00PM I'm going to be running a Windows Phone Garage at SQL Saturday. The basic format is an hour or so to get familiar with the dev tools (via lecture).  The next hour is to focus on prototyping an app, with myself and Kevin Wolf as mentors.

Want to see some of the local Windows Phone 7 scene? At 330p we'll have Bryan Soltis coming in to talk about his WP7 dev expereinces. He should have his app into market by June 3rd but its been no easy route.  He's had a few marketplace rejections which should make for some good lessons learned. Tales from the trenches are always enjoyable.

So what do you need to do to participate? BRING YOUR LAPTOP loaded with the latest Windows Phone Developer tools. Bring an idea. And then let's have some fun working on your application.

BONUS GOODIES - At the end of the garage I'll be giving away a physical Windows Phone and a copy of Visual Studio Professional 2010. Show me some progress on a WP7 app during my event, and you get a raffle ticket for the event. OR attend on June 3rd Kevin Wolf's pre-conference WP7 tutorials , and you get a bonus raffle ticket. Must be present in the Phone Garage at 450P to win.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in beautiful Pensacola. You may also find me at McGuire's Saturday after 930P having my blackend, smoked prime rib and a few pints of locally brewed stout to cap the weekend.
