PERFORMANCE

This is one of the items that is tested in your Windows 8 App when you use the WACK.

If you are in Southern California, please email these posts for more information on getting a token for your app by June 30, 2012!

Your UI should always be responsive and always provide visual feedback to the user. Here are examples, of feedback interactions you should include:

  • When the user presses an item, provide visual feedback (a pressed animation)
  • When the user begins a long-running operation such as a network call or saving a file asynchronously, show a progress control or other way for user to know that the action is executing.

For more tips, check the guidelines for user interaction
