    Ecma Office Open XML Formats Standard: draft published

    Version 1.3 of the Ecma spec has been published as of today. It's a huge document, with lots of detailed information for Open XML developers. Brian Jones has a nice overview on his blog , and you can go directly to the draft here .

    Office 2007 Beta 2 Search

    When you install Beta 2 of Office 2007 (and I assume you will, just as soon as it's publicly available!), you'll need to install Beta 3.0 of Windows Desktop Search. The search functionality in Outlook uses Windows Desktop Search, and it rocks, but it's a separate install.     Hello World!

    Well, I've done what I said I wouldn't do: I've created two blogs, one for personal and one for business. This means Mom won't have to scroll through technical info about Office 2007 in order to see recent pictures of our cats, and my co-workers won't have to do the opposite. So to speak.
