Do you have an idea for an Office Business Application that could help your favorite charity in the work they do? If so, register for the Develop Without Borders Challenge and both you and your selected charity could be big winners.
You don't need to actually develop your solution to win. That comes later. What you need to do right now is to simply register for the contest, decide on the charity that you'd like to help, and then start designing your solution. Submit a description of your proposed solution (in a provided template) by October 1, and on October 16 Microsoft will announce the semifinalists. If you make the cut, you'll then present your plans to a community judging board (via a webcast), and the winners will be selected by the judging board.
Winners receive a variety of prizes: hardware, software and services for both the developer and the charity involved. And best of all, a team of Microsoft and HP experts will help build the winning solution. So if you have a vision for a system that could make a big difference in the work of your favorite charity, get involved! You provide the vision, and we'll provide everything else needed to bring your idea to life.
All the details are at DevelopWithoutBorders.com.
