Open XML directory of articles

Last week at TechEd, I often showed developers articles on the OpenXmlDeveloper.org web site in answer to their questions. We have quite a collection of code samples on the site now, but I found it a bit clumsy to find the one I was thinking of sometimes because they're sorted in order of publication.  So I created some shortcuts on my desktop, and today I collected those shortcuts and added a few more to create an alphabetical directory of all the most-viewed articles on the site.

Here's a copy of the directory as of today:

  • Adding Header-Footer to any WordprocessingML
  • Animation in PresentationML
  • Announcing the Open XML Formats Developer Group
  • BioIT Alliance looks to Office Open XML
  • Bookmarks in WordprocessingML document
  • Building a formatted WordprocessingML document
  • Building Open XML documents with code snippets
  • Conversion of WordprocessingML to HTML using XSLT
  • Creating a PresentationML document from a database
  • Creating a PresentationML document through a browser interface
  • Creating a PresentationML document with .NET
  • Creating an Open XML document in .NET
  • Creating an Open XML document in .NET (web version)

  • Diffopc: a DIFF utility for Open XML
  • Document management utility written in Java
  • Ecma whitepaper on Open XML
  • Final draft of Office Open XML specification
  • Generating a WordprocessingML table from a data source
  • Introduction to PresentationML
  • Java code for common document management tasks
  • Mapping content controls to custom XML parts using Notepad
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable Package
  • MSDN Articles on Open XML and Related Topics
  • .NET code snippets for Open XML developers
  • ODF to Open XML Translator Project
  • Office Devcon and Open XML Formats
  • Open XML document image conversion
  • Open XML to XHTML translator (Java-based)
  • OpenXmlDeveloper.org goes live
  • Package Explorer utility

  • Submission Policy
  • Update Excel objects embedded in WordprocessingML and PresentationML
  • View revisions to WordprocessingML document in a browser
  • View/edit WordprocessingML properties
  • WordprocessingML document creation in pure Java
  • WordprocessingML Snippets: Part 1, utility snippets
  • WordprocessingML Snippets: Part 2, basic paragraphs
  • WordprocessingML Snippets: Part 3, table structure
