    Patrick Tisseghem, one of a kind

    The SharePoint community has lost a great teacher and mentor: Patrick Tisseghem has passed away at the tender age of 39, apparently from a heart attack while teaching a class in Sweden on Wednesday. As co-founder of U2U and one of the world's leading experts on SharePoint and many related technologies, Patrick touched the lives of countless people.     Open XML SDK, XMLSpy Standard Edition, and custom markup

    DII workshop, October 23-24 in Redmond

    Based on feedback from the DII workshop in Redmond this summer , we're making plans to host another event this fall. It will be a two-day event on October 23-24, covering Open XML implementation and interoperability, as well as other document format interoperability topics. We heard from some of the attendees of the July workshop that they'd like to see a similar event around Open XML interop, and that's why we're doing this event.
