    I’ve heard from a couple of people who have noticed that the Document Interoperability Initiative website ( www.documentinteropinitiative.org ) started redirecting to a new site recently ( http://www.microsoft.com/openspecifications ), so thought I’d provide some info to clarify where to find various types of information going forward. All of the same content related to document formats is still available, but we’ve consolidated things so that it all lives on Microsoft.com under the Open Specifications...

    Microsoft Office Binary File Format Validator

    My colleagues on the Office Interoperability team have been hard at work on a tool that will help implementers of the Office binary formats identify and correct any issues in binary documents created or modified by their software.
