I was at the University with my colleague Andy from the Developer and Platform group (DPE).  We met with several people from the computer science school and I found it fascinating the programmes that DPE runs and the motivation to help students enhance their career prospects whilst studying.  It was amazing, to me, that the MSDN accademic alliance programme had barely been heard of here but I think we managed to get the message across that the school can access some great tools through this programme.  I'm hopeful that we all learned a lot today and that Leicester and Microsoft can continue to develop the relationship across all different levels.

One other thing - today was the first day of the new financial year at Microsoft - so farewell to FY05 and welcome FY06.
