The Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of team members, monitoring performance and delivering coaching as appropriate They will ensure that the group as a whole is focused on and driven towards achieving their objectives which will be closely aligned to the revenue & growth targets of the Business Managers
They will also be responsible for working with the HE Business Manager to jointly manage the Higher Education Sector. This will involve working with your virtual team to maximise Customer and Partner experience, increase revenue and exploitation of Microsoft technologies to the benefit of educators and students in the higher educational institutions throughout England and Wales. As part of the Internal Sector Manager team you will work closely with Business Managers, Channel Partners, Marketing, Skills and Channel Partner Managers.
The team leader should be highly visible, motivating, and display role-model behaviour. It is key that the Team Leader instills their team’s confidence in their abilities and is able to handle team member issues and requests in a mature, sensitive and appropriate manner.
The success of the team is largely based upon providing evidence of achievements; therefore the ability to manage and disseminate information in a high impact manner, appropriate to various audiences is critical
Key areas of responsibility:
Ø Ensure that team members are equipped to deliver on their revenue and growth targets.
Ø Lead, motivate, coach and mentor team, providing constructive feedback and guidance
Ø Ensure that the service provided by the team is satisfying our partner’s requirements
Ø Address poor performance in a timely and appropriate manner
Ø Resolve / escalate team issues appropriately
Ø Maximise the Desktop and Server Revenue
Ø Maximising telephone Engagement with customers through effective remote account planning and management
Ø Work closely with any field based MS, channel and partner resources to maximize revenue
Ø Lead virtual teams consisting of relevant people from Microsoft and our partners
Ø Improving customer and partner satisfaction
Ø Develop broad understanding of Education market such that you can work effectively in any of the Education Group sectors (Schools/FE/HE/Voluntary.
Ø Lead and execute proactive and complex telephone campaigns in conjunction with Business Managers, Marketing and Channel Partners
