&lt;p&gt;MVVM seems to be the &amp;quot;way to go&amp;quot; for designing WPF (and silverlight) applications. As far as I can see there is a myriad of MVVM helper libraries around, but most of them have System.Windows.Interactivity (from Expression Blend) as a dependency - is there any hope that System.Windows.Interactivity becomes actually part of the .NET framework?&lt;/p&gt;
