Join HUNTUG on Monday, March 17th, 2008, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Intergraph Corporation Building 15b Auditorium, for a 'Heroes Community Launch Event' presented by Ginger Cochran and Arthur Henley and Charllie Trinca (assisting). The event will focus on the upcoming launch of Microsoft Windows Server 2008. As usual, there will be free pizza, soft drinks and door prizes (including special prizes - Windows XP Professional, Telerik software).

The 'Heroes Community Launch Event' is a two part event with the first event featuring Microsoft Windows Server 2008 held on March 17th and the second part featuring SQL Server 2008 held on April 8th. By attending a Community Launch event in your area, you'll be one of the first to receive technical demos & training, product readiness resources, and the chance to receive NFR DVDs from all featured products!

Ginger Cochran and Arthur Henley will present Microsoft's vision for Windows Server 2008. They will highlight solid foundation for business workloads: management and reliability, web technologies, virtualization: server virtualization and presentation virtualization, security technologies. They will also cover the hardware requirements for Windows Server 2008 and the 11 reasons to upgrade.

Ginger Cochran a Huntsville native and long time HUNTUG member, is an MCP, MCDST and currently works at EMCO, as help desk support specialist and has worked in the field for many years. She will be recieving her MCSA2000 certification this month continuing onwards to a MCSE2003-Security.

Arthur E. Henley, MCP, worked as Helpdesk technician for NASA for 7 years and the Army for 2 years. He worked as System Admin for Army for 3 years. Currently working as Helpdesk analyst at EMCO and working on his MCSE 2003.
