This blog provides information, news, tips, and announcements about the SQL Server Data Quality Services (DQS) feature introduced in SQL Server 2012.
We have put together a comprehensive set of learning resources for DQS that you can use to quickly understand/learn things about DQS, install/configure it, and then use it.
We understand that you have a lot of questions about DQS, and that's why we have put together list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) about DQS. Check out the DQS FAQ on technet wiki.
Still have some more questions that weren't answered in the FAQ? You can let us know about the same either by posting your comments here, or in the DQS FAQ article. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
So, you decided that you are going to try out DQS, and see what it has in store for you.
So, you have installed and configured DQS. Use the following resources to get started with and use DQS:
Happy learning!- DQS Team
Are you likely to release any sample data to work with (as part of AdventureWorks or otherwise?)
Yes, we are working on providing a specific sample data for usage through DQS. I will also soon post the data used in the TechEd demo (sports related data).
Note that adventure works itself could be used as sample data for any DQS operation, and there is a (limited) knowledge base out of the box with DQS, which we will also significantly expand with the updated to DQS closer to Denali RTM.
Such an exiting product!
When is it that you are going to make available some sample data??
I want to e able to excite my colleagues as well! Thanks
