One of the frequent questions our team receives from partners and customers is: "what versions of Dynamics do you support."
Connector for Microsoft Dynamics has broad support for the most recent Dynamics ERP and Dynamics CRM releases. Noted in the attached table, Connector supports all of the CRM and ERP versions through out-of-the-box templates and maps to make your CRM to ERP integration truly "set it and forget it."
Any of these ERP to CRM connections is supported through the most recent release (Connector for Microsoft Dynamics Feature Pack 5), which highlights the ongoing commitment to sustained engineering and new feature support for the Microsoft Dynamics product family.
Microsoft Dynamics Application
Dynamics CRM 4.0
Dynamics CRM 2011
Dynamics CRM 2011 Online
Dynamics AX 2009
Dynamics NAV 2009 R2
Dynamics GP 10
Dynamics GP 2010
Don't you support also Dynamics CRM 4.0 Online?
Yes, Dynamics CRM 4.0 Online also is supported. Good catch
Niether CRM 4.0 nor CRM 2011 non-Microsoft hosted are supported at this time however.
Any plans to support earlier versions of Dynamics NAV (such as 5.0)?
No, we don't plan to support prior versions of any of the Dynamics ERPs. We are spending our efforts on new Connector features and on the upcoming versions of each of the Dynamics products.
Is there a resource that we can use to find how to use Connector with a non-supported system? I attended a session at Convergence and they mentioned that it was possible to use Connector to connect to non-supported ERP systems.
For my implementation I need to connect AX 4.0 (non-supported) to CRM 2011 (supported).
Or, if there isn't documentation on that topic could you give some advice on the general approach that would need to be taken to connect to a system like AX 4.0?
