    Bing is the Thing + New Improved PartnerSource Search

    There is a lot of buzz regarding "Search" today. Plus, I wanted to highlight some great feedback we've received regarding the improved PartnerSource search functionality.

    First, Yahoo! and Microsoft announced an agreement that will improve the Web search experience for users and advertisers, and deliver sustained innovation to the industry. In simple terms, Microsoft will now power Yahoo! search while Yahoo! will become the exclusive worldwide relationship sales force for both companies' premium search advertisers.

    Second, Bing continues to demonstrate that it holds its own versus Google, especially in the areas Bing is initially concentrating on - travel, health, finding local businesses and shopping. Check user feedback on Facebook!

    Finally, Microsoft Dynamics improved its search functionality on PartnerSource in May. We've heard a lot of positive feedback from partners regarding the enhancements. Additionally, we are targeting additional improvements for PartnerSource over the course of the fiscal year beginning in August.

    Microsoft Dynamics GP - Show It, Scale It

    Two new great resources are now available for partners marketing, selling, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics GP:  1) Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 SP3 Technical Demonstration Toolkit, and 2) Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 Scalability White Paper for SQL Server 2008 & Windows Server 2008.

    This Technical Demonstration Toolkit is designed to allow you to demonstrate the features and functionality within Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 SP3, Business Portal 4.0 for Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and Microsoft Office 2007 (Microsoft Outlook 2007, Word 2007, Excel 2007 and InfoPath 2007) within a single computer demonstration environment. Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is being utilized to create this virtual demonstration environment.

    This white paper documents the successful performance benchmark testing of Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 with SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008. This tests the scalability of Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 running with 1,000 constant concurrent users in heavy transaction processing and analysis activity across various functional areas of the solution. areas of the solution. This document details a sample customer environment that was able to process nearly 3.3 million business transactions (with a total of more than 10.6 million transactions line items) in an 8 hour day. The paper also details real-life customer performance results of existing Microsoft Dynamics GP Customers.

The Microsoft Matchmaker Cash Incentive has been extended through FY10 Q1!
