    New Microsoft Dynamics ERP Resources Save Customers Time and Money


    As announced on the Microsoft News Center yesterday, we have officially launched a new connector and Data Migration Assistant to help customers get more value from their IT investments when implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

    REDMOND, Wash. — Feb. 23, 2011 — Microsoft Corp. today announced new resources to help improve productivity and save Microsoft Dynamics enterprise resource planning (ERP) customers time and money through new interoperable Microsoft technologies. The new resources include an out-of-the-box connector between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics AX and a Data Migration Assistant for Microsoft Dynamics AX customers moving from an Oracle database to Microsoft SQL Server.

    Following the recent global launch of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, the new connector release facilitates out-of-the-box interoperability between either version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM — online or on-premises — and Microsoft Dynamics AX. This connection helps improve productivity by eliminating redundant data entry and provides organizationwide insight across the applications through an easy-to-use and familiar Microsoft interface. Customers can focus their efforts on the work that furthers their business objectives.

    Connectors between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics GP, as well as Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, are also available. A connector for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics SL is planned for the second half of 2011. Working with their partners, customers can receive the connector software as a benefit of their enhancement plan.

    Last fall, the US Partner Team piloted a series of local events for Microsoft partners (resellers, ISV’s, etc.) to connect with each other, and various individuals from Microsoft. Attendee feedback rated these events very favorably, and now these events are back again this spring.

    Microsoft Dynamics Partner Support Response Times & Revised Support Hours for Spring/Summer 2011


    The Microsoft Dynamics support and services teams have passed along this important news impacting both partners and customers.

    Microsoft is continually improving how we deliver and address our partner support. Beginning July 1, 2011, partners who engage Microsoft technical support for Microsoft Dynamics products will experience improvements in how we handle support.

    Partner satisfaction is our number one priority within Microsoft. This document should address many questions and concerns Microsoft Dynamics partners may have.

    As part of the Partner Strategy Announcement with the new Partner Service Plan offerings, we mentioned that support response times would also be changing to a severity based response model. Microsoft support will strive to reach the response time goal based on the severity of the Service Request, as well as the Partner Service Plan, as outlined in the benefits summary of the Microsoft Dynamics Partner Service Plans.

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Released for On-Premises and Partner-Hosted Deployments


    Last month we announced the availability of the latest release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, and now we have officially launched the on-premises and partner-hosted release!

    REDMOND, Wash. — Feb. 16, 2011 — Microsoft Corp. today announced that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for on-premises and partner-hosted deployments has been completed and released for customer download. This release complements the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, which delivers Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 as an on-demand service from Microsoft’s datacenters and was launched into 40 markets and 41 languages in January. With a single multitenant code base across cloud and on-premises deployment models, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 delivers the Power of Productivity to sales, service and marketing organizations worldwide.

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is now globally available and existing customers with active Microsoft Software Assurance agreements can access the new version immediately via the Microsoft Download Center.

    In addition, Microsoft announced the new release scaled to 150,000 concurrent users in a single instance while delivering sub-second response times, once again raising the bar for performance and scalability in the CRM industry. The new benchmark results will be detailed in a Microsoft Dynamics CRM performance and scalability white paper that will be delivered in the coming weeks.

    Integrated within Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, the Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace is available today in 20 markets and currently offers more than 1,400 partner offerings for solutions and services.     Microsoft Dynamics Lead Referral Program - Partner Success Story


    As the US Project Manager for the Microsoft Dynamics Lead Referral Program, it's always exciting to see great feedback from our participating partners. One Step Beyond, Inc is one of those success stories that produced a very sizable win for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
