Some cool Windows Phone apps made by college students using AppMakr…

I’ve held a couple of WP7 AppMakr Workshops in the last month or two and wanted to highlight a few cool apps created by students from Tufts, UMASS Lowell, and Northern Essex Community College… Some of them may seem pretty basic, but with AppMakr, it probably only took about 15 minutes to create, and there’s potential to make free $$$!!

UML Robotics Lab

This is THE OFFICIAL WP7 application of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Robotics Lab. It displays their YouTube channel, and will at some point be augmented to display their RSS news feed.

Permaculture News

Permaculture is the design of agricultural and social systems so that Nothing is wasted and the system as a whole displays the stability and resilience of a natural ecosystem. This app collects entries from several permaculture blogs, and includes a feed of scenes of natural beauty.
