In VSTS work item tracking, there is a special identifier called @me instead of a specific user alias so that the user who is running the query sees only those bugs that have AssignedTo= their alias, for example.  This is helpful if you want to create a query that will give individualized results, but you want to share the query out to the entire team.   @Today (current date) and @Project (current project) might also be handy, although I haven't personally found myself using them that much during my own dogfooding as a tester.
