Without giving too much away, I thought I would share a sneak peek of what is happening on the night of our Queensland Microsoft Innovation Centre Launch.

At 5:30pm we are kicking off our evening with drinks, networking and live music followed by a presentation at 6:00pm.  All of this will be held at our state of the art Microsoft Office in Brisbane, the home of our Queensland Microsoft Innovation Centre.

On this evening The Honourable Minister Ros Bates, Minister for Science, Information Technology, Innovation and the Arts will be officially opening the centre, and distinguished guests from Microsoft will include our State Director Sharon Schoenborn and Director of Public Sector Michael Gration.

Alongside some of our industry partners in Queensland, we will hear from David Harrison, owner of co-founder of Mammoth Media, recognized as a high potential emerging business and selected to attend our Queensland
Trade Mission to the US/ Canada in February 2012 of his journey from start-up to established business here in Queensland.

Christopher Tia, Start-Up Mentor and Principle of Lean Market Research will also be sharing some insight on the evening, on the new approach entrepreneurs are taking to growing their start-up’s and the undeniable groundswell of entrepreneurs and start-ups in Queensland.

We are very excited to launch this new initiative, and look forward to see you there! If you haven’t registered yet, makes sure you do as we have limited places at this very special event.
