Finding investment and funding for your start-up can be seen to be one of the greatest challenges in the inital stages of starting your business. At our next Bizspark gathering Bryan Vadas is going to share some insights from crowd funding platform iPledg. So come down and join us for lunch at 12:00pm on the 28th August 2012 for some networking, food and learn more about crowd funding your next big idea!
iPledg is a crowd funding platform on which those with creative, commercial, charitable, and community projects can raise funds from their networks and beyond. Whilst largely unheard of in Australia, crowd funding is the fastest growing form of e-commerce on the planet, and funds raised in this way do not involve loans that need to be repaid or the surrender of equity in ideas or enterprises.
Bryan Vadas has 27 years of international business experience having worked with multinationals right through to SMEs in both the private and public sector. In working with businesses to deliver business transformations, commercialise new concepts, and achieve against strategic intent, Bryan recognized the gap that exists at the bottom of the funding ladder, and created iPledg to fill this gap with a funding mechanism that is not bound by conventional thinking.
