 Nick Randolph

Nick currently runs Built to Roam which focuses on building rich mobile applications. Nick has been identified as a Microsoft MVP in recognition of his work and expertise with the Microsoft mobile platforms. He is still an active contributor in the device application development space via his blog at http://nicksnettravels.builttoroam.com and Visual Studio Magazine (http://visualstudiomagazine.com/Articles/List/Mobile-Corner.aspx).Nick has been  nvited to present at a variety of events including Tech Ed Australia & NZ, MEDC and Code camp. He has also authored multiple books with the latest being Professional Visual Studio 2010 and Professional Development for  Windows Phone, and helped judge multiple world finals for the Imagine Cup. Since the release of Windows Phone Nick has worked on numerous Windows Phone applications and has helped hundreds of developers build their own Windows Phone applications. Nick has been involved with Windows Phone applications for well-known brands such as Domain.com.au, ninemsn, AFL, NRL, Qantas, JB Hi-Fi
and NAB.

Dr Peter Ellis

Dr Peter Ellis is a forensic management analyst, specialising in business growth strategies. His expertise is in the area of profitable business education, coaching and mentoring owners/managers in how to find, understand and resolve, business and management issues. Previously Peter has worked in Europe as a senior business development manager specialising in turnaround and growth. In short, Dr Ellis has an excellent understanding of the business of business.

Mike Avey

Mikeis Managing Director of Pachira Capital Pty Ltd, a boutique business advisory and investment banking company. He has contributed many hours as a mentor to businesses undertaking the DEEDI Mentoring for Growth, investment and Export programmes. He has worked within the Venture Capital industry since 1999, first at Septimus Capital Partners where he undertook investment banking, deal structuring, and investee management; actively contributing to the strategic planning and financial and operational governance of investee companies. Mike has over 40 years in business management and commercialisation of innovations across a range of industries, including: micro-electronics; IT, communications, publishing, boat building, GIS/LIS, photogrammetry, and energy. He has worked with hardware and software companies including: Fairchild; Motorola; AWA Data Communications; Sun Microsystems; Micromine and Mincom. Mike’s international experience includes successfully commercialising an Australian photogrammetric invention for ADAM technology, setting up 25 distributors in 20 countries and producing a CAGR of well over 50% per year for five years.

Rob Gray

Rob is a professional developer on the Microsoft platform since 1999, starting with Visual Basic 5 and moving to .NET in 2003. During that time he's worked in a variety of industries building applications on a variety of Microsoft
Technologies including web applications in web forms and MVC, windows forms apps, WPF apps, Silverlight apps including Remoting, Web Services, WCF, Web Api, various ORM's and community frameworks. 
These industries include finance, public safety, internal and public facing Government applications and sites, health informatics, content management systems, and public facing high volume web sites with a media focus.
Rob currently developing web applications in MVC4, Web Api, jquery, knockoutjs and other libraries focussed around "Single Page Applications".

Paul Usher

Paul Usher is the recently appointed Technical Evangelist for DevExpress, a California based tools vendor.  Prior to this, Paul ran (and still owns) an independent software development company who specialize in custom solutions for small to medium businesses, with a focus on mobile and paperless solutions. He has developed more than 100 commercial applications on Windows, OS X, iOS and other platforms that are used worldwide covering a wide range of industries from retail, medical, construction and various service industries.  Paul is a published author and speaker.
