Speaker 1: Professor Simon Kaplan - Director, Skills and Industry Transformation, NICTA

Currently Director of Skills and Industry Transformation at Australia’s ICT Research Centre of Excellence (NICTA), Simon has 30 year experience in academic and research arena, holding various senior positions including Executive Dean, Faculty of Information Technology and Executive Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology at QUT and Professor and Head of Computer Science at UQ.  He is Chair of Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) Queensland Branch, Deputy President of Australian Council of Deans of ICT and Fellow of the Australian Computer Society.

Speaker 2: Craig Mounsey - CEO, CMD Strategy-Design-Innovation

Craig has over 20 years local and international industrial and commercial design experience. He worked for noted design houses around the world before founding CMD inBrisbane1995.  The recipient of multiple Australian and international design awards, CMD, as grown to be a major force in Australian design and is currently expanding into UK, USA and Asian markets.  Craig sits on several government and industry innovation committees, has been an Australian Design Awards Selection Judge and isAustralia’s first appointed executive coach inNew Zealand's Better by Design program.
