The Embedded team has been working hard on some exciting development projects. We gave consideration to the optional updates we might provide, and found there weren’t many candidates for consideration at this time, and the value-add of those candidates didn’t stack up against keeping our resources on our current efforts. Any news on when it will be possible to include SQL CE 3.5 into an OS design?
You made me very curious! BTW: Any idea about release date of SP3 for XPe? And will there be exFAT support in future for XPe? This will be a very interesting feature I think.
We don't have a specific timeframe for the release of XPe SP3 at this stage.
We are looking at exFAT for future versions of Embedded WIndows, but I do not know of any solid plans in this area.
XP Embedded does not support SQL CE - this product is only supported on Windows CE. You could post this request to their feedback site -http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/embedded/aa731156.aspx
