The March 2010 Security Updates  are now available on the ECE for Windows® Embedded Standard 2009 and/or Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded with Service Pack 2, Feature Pack 2007, Update Rollup 1.0 and Service Pack 3.

This month’s security updates can be applied directly to runtime images.This download is a cumulative update which incorporates all updates from prior months for the current year. Therefore you do not need to download and install previous monthly updates for the current year from ECE.

The March Security updates include:

• 875561 MS10-016 Vulnerability in Windows Movie Maker Could Allow Remote Code Execution
• 981128 A hotfix is available to update the Daylight Saving Time for the "(UTC-04:00) Asuncion", "(UTC+12:00) Fiji" and "(UTC-04:00) Santiago" time zone for Windows Operating Systems
