Today I had an appointment to tour the ProClub (one of the many facilities that Microsoft employees can elect to use as a part of their benefits package) and rather being the traditional American I decided that I would run from my apartment, in downtown Bellevue, to the club. The run is just under 5 miles so I figured I could run there then jog or walk back. The run to the club was great. It was primarily a steady incline most of the way with a few hills here and there. I managed to leave at just the right time and showed up precisely at the time I was supposed to.

The club is pretty amazing. The only thing I wish they had was an indoor track. It's not that I like to run on a track all the time, but it helps me gauge the pace I am running at and the distance I can cover. Other the then track this club has it all.

Once I completed my tour I had the option of walking/jogging back the way I came or taking another route home. I decided on the second option and thought that I would stop by a friends house to see if she was home. Unfortunately she wasn't and so I had to continue making my way home. All in all I cover approximately 12.6 miles and it was not flat ground as I am used to in Michigan. It was a great workout for the day. My legs are a little sore but they'll get over it and I'll be ready for some hockey tomorrow!
