It is becoming increasingly common for UK ISVs to ask us about Silverlight. Which is a good thing as I have previously blogged about why ISVs should care about Silverlight and these are important discussions which can impact technology choices which may easily live for 5, 10 or more years in the products they build.

Recently I have been asked about Silverlight training options.

Two that immediately leap to mind are:

  • Attend a course. Xpertise have been delivering Silverlight training on our behalf with a specific focus on helping designers (NOTE: Designers - not developers)
  • Use the Web: Which lets face it, is how most "training" happens these days for new (and old) technologies.

There is a lot of information about Silverlight on the web right now (articles, videos etc) but one that stands out for me is a 4.5 hour training course created and delivered by Mike, one of the Silverlight program managers and available for free download.
