I’ve been thinking about how developers will be staying connected to Microsoft technologies and the tech community in the future. They will often be on the go and desire up to the minute information. Much like now! With this in mind, I created a suite of Windows Phone apps. Currently, I have created four free apps:

 These apps provide the latest news and information for Windows Azure, Windows Phone, ASP.NET, and SQL Server enthusiasts on the go. Each app uses public news feeds and provides additional information, such as:

  • Key articles and content from MSDN
  • Twitter and Facebook feeds
  • Blog Posts
  • Videos
  • Forum Posts
  • Code examples from CodePlex, Code Project, and Code Gallery
  • Job postings
  • Search Capabilities (forums, MSDN, and jobs)

Please use your Windows Phone to download and install these free apps. If you have suggestions for improvements, let me know! I only create and update these apps during my non-work time (yes, I enjoy programming) and follow Microsoft guidelines for creating Windows Phone apps. If you are a developer that is familiar with one of these technology areas, these apps may help you expand your skills and knowledge.
