Nevertheless, this is good news for current Blend owners and I applaud MSFT for helping their developers move forward at the same lightning fast pace Silverlight is moving at.

How can we be expected to pay for a whole new version of Expression Studio every 6 months. I bought Expression Studio 3 and my product hasn't even been rolled out yet and I'll have to consider upgrading already. This is rediculous!

I suggest MS find a way to install support for new versions of silverlight/wpf straight into existing versions of Blend. I'm already sitting with an unusable Blend V2 and soon Blend V3 aswell.

Expecting people to pay for upgrades this frequently will definitely harm the product in the long run and put off developers. I'm already starting to regret going down this path if this is how things are going to carry on in future.
