Visiting the Aztec Templo Mayor at night was the last thing on my mind when our team entered the Microsoft Corporate Strategy case competition last November.

We -- Andrew, Curtis, Vivek, Sheldon and I – were among the 12 teams at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth that took up the challenge for devising a global partner strategy for the BPIO MOSS offering. More than a month of arduous brainstorming sessions and a couple of conference calls later, while striving to keep respectable grades at school, we were finally on our way to Redmond to present our solution to Norm Judah and the senior leadership team from MS Services.

At Redmond we met up with the folks from the winning team at Tepper. Over the next few days we had intense discussions and final presentations of our strategies. Unparalleled access to the SLT, prompt feedback on our presentations and loads of fond memories were ample reward for the efforts expended.

Now how does all of this connect to the Templo Mayor?…well..keep watching this space!!
