Firenze at cornell

Jeffrey Osborn (in pic) has been working with us to get his school ready for Firenze | USA this fall. Seen in the tinier inset (on the top right of the pic) is the location of the banner that he has chosen in his school - at the atrium right in the center of their main hall.

Jeffrey has committed to getting about 60 students of the 250+ first year MBAs participating in the competition which is a BIG BOLD goal. At last count he has already reached 40.

As the fall colors intesify all over New York, a microsoft videographer will be on campus at Cornell taking in the excitement this is creating on campus, as Firenze will start on campuses next week. The Johnson school's students will be working on a case that comes directly from the Dynamics product group, diving deeper into some exciting marketing, business and strategy parts of the business. Though largely qualitative the students will have a fascinating flexibility to go do their own primary research and analytics that can lend the case into a quantitative angle.

Deadlines for the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University:

  •  November 4th : Business Case given to Johnson Students
  •  November 12th: All teams to submit their presentation to Microsoft (60 students?)
  •  November 18th: The top 4 Johnson teams will be chosen for the Finals (16 students)
  •  November 24th: The finalists will present to Microsoft
  •  November 25th: Winning team announced (4 students)
  •  December 7th : RLE* for Winning team (* Redmond Leadership Experience)
