Tepper organizers

The Business and Technology Club at the Tepper School of Business provides a resource-rich forum for members to explore careers in technology or leverage technology experiences in new careers. It therefore makes perfect sense that 4 of their board members jumped on the opportunity to champion Project Firenze for their students. On the picture to the left these student leaders show off the Firenze banner as it stands in the main hall right next to the American flag.

Having been on the B&T club board myself, here is a shameless plug for the club :)
On their mission statement the B&T Club does state We collaborate with industry experts, provide exposure to emerging technologies, and network with professionals at some of the most dynamic companies in the world. Our club caters to students of all disciplines, including finance, marketing, operations, and technology. Needless to say organizing this project must have been an easy decision for them.

On 30th Oct(Thursday) - our Microsoft videographer, Scott Finley will be going to Tepper on our "Firenze Fall Foliage video shoot" to capture the excitement that is building there. Over the last 2 days  Scott has been at Cornell(monday) and Yale(tuesday), on his way to Tuck(wednesday). The video tour came from us looking at some of the shots at the school which has some breathtaking fotos of these ivy league campuses in fall colors of gold, yellow and brown and deciding that it was something to consider. Ofcourse what really made us go for the trip was the fact that the excitement at these universities this year has been tremendous, PLUS we wanted to hear from the the 200+ students participating in Firenze as opposed to just hearing from the top 4 teams which eventually win the competition. So far the decision has been the right one.

Tepper ofcourse has given front-seat publicity for Project Firenze with our diversity video being showcased right on top of their main webpage at www.tepper.cmu.edu (look at the top right for the students in Orange jackets). The leadership we are seeing from the school's students will only make this partnership stronger. Tepper is now Firenze ready!
