Located right in the center of Asia's largest commercial district the Grand Hyatt in Beijing will be the venue of this year's Firenze|China. I just moved here from my Westin accomodation (which was a bitter walking distance to the Microsoft office) to here - and while this is a 30 mins cab ride to work it is a stone's throw from shopping and tourist attractions viz  the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Street.

Ofcourse my next 3 days will be spent on Firenze work so its not like I will be doing any shopping or touristing, but it is still interesting to see a completely different crowd compared to what I have been seeing in my previous accomodation for a wk.

The students start checking in from early tomorrow morning all the way till late in the night, while the judges arrive from late tommorrow afternoon through early Tuesday morning!!f
