March 20th and 21st will be the Firenze|BXT Finals – after which the Top team will receive $20,000! If you are interested in viewing the finals, let me know and I will get you an invitation!
The program has been running on plan, and there are a lot of people working behind the scenes to pull this off – and thank you all for that J
The timeline for this year is:
· January 18th: Firenze Round 1 Starts in Universities (Done)
· February 1st – 8th: Innovation Workshops run on campuses (To help students understand a bit more about BXT) (Done)
· March 1st: University Prelim Rounds end. Student artefacts sent to Microsoft (Done)
· March 8th - 9th: University Finals through LiveMeeting (Top 4 teams make it to finals – 2 in the case of UW) (Done)
· March 20th & 21st : Firenze Innovation Grande Finals in Microsoft HQ at Seattle, WA (The top team from each University is invited)
