Microsoft Java Virtual Machine Technical Partner Update

Microsoft Java Virtual Machine Technical Partner Update

  • Comments 2
Microsoft is committed to helping customers transition off the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM). To provide a smooth transition for current users of the MSJVM, Sun Microsystems and Microsoft have agreed to extend Microsoft's license to use Sun's Java source code and compatibility test suites. This extension allows Microsoft to support the MSJVM until 30 September 2004, and gives Microsoft the ability to address potential security issues. Register today for forthcoming technical workshops at www.microsoft.com/australia/events [event code: 159269] or visit www.microsoft.com/java for more information.
  • No offence, but last time I checked, weblogs.asp.net wasn't a site to sell MS stuff. This is not good for weblogs.asp.net in general, IMHO, because it WAS a center for .net oriented blogs, however it more and more becomes a center for Pro-Microsoft blogs. No, that's not the same thing.
  • Frank, not suprinsigly, I noticed that people approve what Microsoft is doing lately with things like Patterns&Practices, free seminars... That is talk about problems and solutions. People tend to get fed up and wary with all the talk on Microsoft products and 100% Microsoft stuff.
