A while ago I wrote about Australian companies with the .net connected logo.
Well, let me present an updated list of Australian .net connected logo companies:
An updated list of Australian .net connected logo companies:
Jim posted a note about this bit of news - ASP.NET overtakes JSP and Java Servlets. The graph is cool, but I wont be excited until that redline gets overtaken!!
Tim Sneath has posted a link to a terrific site - you can chart all the countries you have visited. This is really cool!
create your own visited country map or write about it on the open travel guide
I thought I would also document all the US states I have visited:
I found this photo on Chandu Thota's WebLog - and yes, that's Dr Neil on the left!
He was over at the Mobile DevCon last week soaking up all the info for the upcoming Australian Mobile Developer Conference on 20/04/2004 in Sydney.
Neil will be presenting at MDC 2004 Australia and he is covering MapPoint in his talks!
Make sure you check the main MDC site, as the agenda has changed from what I originally posted. There are now two tracks following the keynote - a Windows Mobile track (Pocket PC, Smartphone) and a Mobile PC track (tablet). Everyone then gets together for the closing keynote, which I hear will be really cool!
One nice touch we are adding for this event is SMS reminders - so when you register, you have the option of given your mobile phone number and we will send you an SMS reminder. And yes, we are using an XML Web Service at the back to do this.
There is a lot of innovate companies in Australia, doing cool stuff. I recently came across a company developing pocketpc & smartphone apps - INSIDEMind.
INSIDEMind is a software development company specializing in the development of applications to run on the Microsoft Pocket PC and Smartphone platforms. Our goal is to provide software applications covering a range of areas at great value prices for our customers.
They have a bunch of fun, business & personal apps, all with fully functional trials. And the really cool thing, all their applications use the .NET Compact Framework. I'm a fan of MindMap.
If you have a PocketPC, check out these guys -- you will be supporting a local Aussie company too! And Jon Wells - you need to add these guys to your list!
