Weird feeling today. It's my last day in the office. A place I have called home for a long long time
Next week I am at Tech.Ed and the week later, I head out to my new job.
Gotta get stuff done before I leave. But I also feel the urge to write a blog posts or two.
I went to my mailslot today to collect my mail.
There was a HUGE parcel in it.
It was addressed to "Frank".
Hmmmm - present?
I opened it up and it was a keyboard.
There was a note which included a phone number.
I called the number and asked the guy why he had sent me a keyboard.
Apparently he was talking to "Frank" at Microsoft earlier in the week and "Frank" told him to send it to him.
Now, I wasn't that "Frank". But I've now got a busted keyboard which I need to get fixed for some guy.
Time to hit the address book and work out who is the right "Frank".
Folks have asked me how do they register for the Blogger's Lunch.
Follow these simple steps, and you can't go wrong.
It should look something like this (granted this is the speaker view, so what you see may be a bit different)
I want to see EVERYONE there!
This year at Tech.Ed AU we're holding a lunchtime panel on Web2.0 and Social Networking for attendees who are bloggers. The lunch is taking place Wednesday 8 August, at 12.45pm .
Discussion would be highly interactive with the blogger audience and will cover:
Web 2.0 and Social Networking panel
Log onto Commnet and register your interest - I would love to see you there.
TechCrunch's Duncan Riley writes about StreetAdvisor and it's new services
Want to see where I have lived ?
Well, thanks to an email from senior developer Justin Adler, I found out "it's another 100% ASP.Net C# site using MapPoint web services and MS Ajax, SqlServer etc.. ... all made in Melbourne, Australia :) Go Aussies!"
Go Aussies Indeed!
Now Justin, I can't wait for the release that uses Virtual Earth.
