My kids got an XO from my brothers for xmas. Pretty cool. An interesting introduction to computers for kids in the developing world - I think a lot of adults who use PCs all day would struggle with this one, but kids are smart, they will just get it. And it has a python shell!
Oh, and I got a nabaztag/tag for xmas...looks like I have at least one gadget you don't
Gday Frank. Nice. I tried a beta unit out earlier (http://lifekludger.net/2007/06/10/lifekludger-with-the-olpc/).
How did you find the outter sections of the touch pad responded? I see they are supposed to be the type you can use a stylus on (ie: no finger), but on the beta unit I had they worked but were flakey.
I'm interested to know how that works in final production.
