Next Generation Surface Announced at CES

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Microsoft Corp. unveiled the next generation of the Microsoft Surface experience featuring PixelSense™ technology which gives LCD panels the power to see without the use of cameras. Building from the innovation of the first version of Microsoft Surface and Samsung's leading display technology, it's now possible for people to share, collaborate, and explore together using a large, thin display that recognizes fingers, hands and other objects placed on the screen.  This experience will come to life in the Samsung SUR40 which will be available to commercial customers later in 2011.

Microsoft Surface Sales and Marketing Materials Moving to the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN)

As 2.0 marketing materials are being developed, your sales force can get ready for the future now. If you're already selling Surface-based products, your sales force has a great head start. If you're new to selling Surface, you can use the current marketing materials to get up to speed; the concepts and unique Surface attributes remain the same between versions.

We are moving the Surface Quickstart site to where you will find the Surface 1.0 sales and marketing materials. Some of this material requires signing in with an MPN ID.
