Just heard about this:

I'm considering adding a Windows Home Server box to my network, as soon as I can get permission for a new hardware acquisition after my recent purchase of a new Windows Vista Media Center machine (Dell Inspiron 531, picked up through the Dell Outlet store), and a new 1080p TV. While I've got the Media Center pc set up to hold all music, video, pictures, etc. for our home network, it would be nice to be able to have that and the other machines automatically backed up every night.

Also of note is the Windows Home Server website, where you'll find, among other things, a link to the Getting Started Guide, for folks who want to install WHS on their own hardware, as well as the WHS SDK, for those who want to write custom apps against the Windows Home Server platform.
