Looks like, thanks to some smart folks on the VE team, I have a workaround. The map should now work fully in Firefox 2.x. Please let me know if you're still experiencing any issues.

Well, I think I've tracked down the Firefox problem to a conflict between my scripts and one of the default scripts in Community Server. If I disable that script, the map points load just fine in Firefox. Now if I can figure out what part of the code is at issue, perhaps I can put together a workaround.

Good news...thanks to Christopher Steen, I've got the expand/restore part fixed. Now just need to get the collection to load in Firefox.

I'm aware of the Firefox issue, and working on it. I'm limited in what and where I can put stuff in my blog, and limited by my meager javascript skills. Sorry for any inconvenience.

FYI, I noted the issue with the expander in my blog post on the subject.

FYI to those using Firefox, the map only displays properly in Internet Explorer.

Thanks for the map but it doesn't work in firefox... It just shows the US map with no markers.

The expander doesn't work in firefox either.
