Now if only Microsoft had some semblance of official corporate / enterprise certification support.
Wayne,
You can't leave that hanging out there without some clarification. :-)
Hi Gerry
I saw "Preparation Guide for Exam 70-505" on Microsoft Learning.
Under Microsoft Press books it shows **MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-526): Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Windows-Based Client Development**
- Its just a time gap arrangement before MS Press comes with a book for 70-505? (By when the books are expected?)
or
- MS Press never plans a book for 70-505? (70-526 will always be the book for 70-505 exam)
Mahesh.
Hi Mahesh,
That is correct. MS Press is creating a revised edition of the TK for exam 70-505. I'm told it should be out in December 2008 or January 2009.
The TK for 526 can still be used as a study guide for 505 however. There were minimal changes in the Windows Forms technologies.
December 2008 is too long to wait! :)
Anyways thanks for that.
Mahesh
Gerry,
Have you ever actually attempted to contact one of these centers? If you haven't, I suggest you pose as a regular customer and give them a call.
I had to earlier and to say that they were less than helpful would be an understatement.
We won't even talk about the language barrier. It's less of a barrier and more of a great divide.
Hi Rod,
I did actually have to call at one point to find out where my welcome kit was. I did not see any issues but that was only one call.
I will pass your comments on to the person responsible for these centers however.
Thank you.
There's a huge demand for Microsoft training and certifications in India. Good to see you've got so many service centers here.
Hi all,
This is Navaneethapperumal. I'm New to Microsoft certification ,Shall I take Exam MCTS 70-505 Directly? Please anybody plz help me..mail me:navanecs@live.com
Navaneethapperumal,
You're not really providing us with much information to help answer your question.
What are you goals?
What do you mean by "take Exam MCTS 70-505 Directly"? There is no other way to take it but directly.
If you want to get certified as a Windows developer on .NET 3.5, then you must take and pass two exams, 70-536 and 70-505.
All the information you need is on this page;
